We’re delighted to announce Scott Davies first signing as Shots manager, 25-year-old John Gilbert!
The central midfielder joins the Shots pending the end of his contract from Maidstone United.
John had a successful 25/26 season at Maidstone United, featuring 42 times and scoring 10 league goals and assisting 3.
John, under the management of Scott, already once before at Slough Town, the all-action midfielder successfully stepped up to the National League South, making 46 appearances in all competitions and scoring nine goals.
Known as the Duracell Bunny, the energetic midfielder looks to continue his rich run of scoring form over the past 2 seasons.
Scott Davies said, “I’m delighted to get Gilbs on board with us. He’s someone who has played for me previously, and knowing the way he plays, I know he will be a fan’s favourite.
He’s full of energy, has an eye for goal, but also brings a real tenacity in how he plays.
