Shots #WearTheWig For Prostate Cancer

As part of Non-League Day this Saturday, Aldershot Town are joining National League sponsors Vanarama in raising money for Prostate Cancer UK and supporting the Men United campaign.

The Shots have already raised £100 by joining the #WearTheWig initiative on Twitter, and will also raffle a special first-team shirt with squad number 42 signed by every Shots player. This number has been allocated to Men United in recognition of the 42,000 men who are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year.

Raffle tickets, costing £1 each, will be available from around the ground before kick-off, with the winning number announced at half-time as well as on our Twitter and Facebook pages plus theshots.co.uk.

Fans can also get involved, with £10 donated to Prostate Cancer UK for every photograph you post wearing an orange wig that is tweeted to @Vanarama and @ProstateUK with the hashtag #WearTheWig. Simply come down to the table located inside the turnstiles, take your selfie and share it on Twitter.
