Aldershot Town invite applications for the vacancy of First-Team Sports Scientist for the 2018-19 season to enhance the Club’s existing Medical and Sports Science Department.
The Club thank Sam Thompson for his efforts in this role during 2017-18, and wish him well as he moves on to further his career.
The successful applicant will be part of a forward-thinking and dynamic staff looking to support the management team in the ultimate quest of returning to the Football League.
Applicants for this full-time role must hold a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science or an equivalent qualification and have at least one-years’ experience of working in professional sports in a sports science role, preferably football and preferably in a full-time capacity. They must have had extensive use of GPS equipment in a professional sport setting and be able to provide data analysis in both written and verbal communications to access performance measures.
An MSc in Sports Science or equivalent is desirable, as would be UKSCA Accreditation and current First Aid Certification.
