After an initial two-month loan at National League South side Dulwich Hamlet, forward Shamir Mullings has left Aldershot Town by mutual consent.
The forward made 25 appearances for the club having signed in August last year, scoring once, after leaving League Two side Macclesfield Town the season prior.
Manager Danny Searle has explained the situation:
“As a club, we have a duty of care to our players and whether that’s looking after them while they’re playing or whilst they’re not in the squad,” he said.
“He’s been great for us and I think from our perspective, we had to do the best for him and give him the opportunity to go and get some football, which culminated in Dulwich and us agreeing a permanent move for him.
“We will always be grateful for what he did for us and we wish him obviously the very best of luck.
“I know Gavin (Rose) well so he’ll work well with Sham and I’m sure our paths will cross again.”
Everyone at the club would like to wish Shamir all the best in his future endeavours.
