Shots v Tranmere: Your Matchday Itinerary

Our home game against Tranmere Rovers tomorrow is the centrepiece of a busy afternoon at the EBB Stadium.

To celebrate Valetine’s Day, women can gain admission with a £3 discount on all tickets. Our regular 50/50 Draw, costing just £1, also has a special Valentine’s-themed prize of two cinema tickets and a meal voucher from Prezzo. As well as three great cash prizes, you can also win two tickets for our renowned VIP hospitality in the EBB Lounge.

The Shots Trust Cafe, in The Phoenix Lounge, will be open for lunch from 12.30pm, with a fully-licensed bar and BT Sport showing the Sunderland v Manchester United match at 12.45pm. The East Bank Bar will also open with a fine selection of real ales.

Our second Chairperson for the Day, Emily Humphries, will host Tranmere’s Directors in the Boardroom, and give her own team-talk to both Barry and the players in the dressing room before undertaking a tour of the stadium to ensure all is running smoothly.

At 2.15pm The Shots Trust will be presenting their January Player of the Month award, so keep an eye out to see if your favourite player has won!

Troops representing ABF – The Soldiers’ Charity will be making a bucket collection around the EBB Stadium before kick-off to aid their valuable work in supporting service personnel and their families.

We also welcome East Bank sponsors Gluco Rx, who will be offering free diabetes tests, as well as vital information, to all supporters from their stand inside the turnstiles at the High Street End.

Before kick-off, we ask you to join us in a minute’s applause to celebrate the life of Frank Burt, who died last week aged 102. We are delighted to welcome four members of Frank’s family to the match, and have produced a special souvenir matchday programme in his honour.

Half-time sees a hugly-competitive local derby in the first semi-final of our FITC Schools Shoot-Out sponsored by McDonalds, as Walsh Junior School from Ash face Aldershot’s Wellington Primary for a place in the final.

Watching on from the Community Stand will be several local youth teams, including Mytchett Athletic Under 9 Kestrels, who recently won the NEHYL League Cup, Badshot Lea Colts Under 8s and the Junior Shots FC.

See you all at the EBB!
