Aldershot Town Football Club are delighted to announce that First-Team Manager Tommy Widdrington has put pen to paper to sign new terms with the Club!
Widdrington joined the Shots at the end of the 22/23 season and ensured The Shots’ Vanarama National League survival with an unbeaten run in the six games he took charge of to end the campaign.
The Shots currently lie 7th in the Vanarama National League table after 18 games of the 23/24 season.
After meeting with Club Chairman Shahid Azeem to discuss the start of his tenure, Widdrington has further committed himself to the Club.
The Shots Manager said: “It’s been really positive since I came here and I think the Club and I see the same thing.”
“When I was offered the opportunity to sit down with the Chairman (Shahid Azeem), he was very, very positive himself.”
“I’ll never get sick of people tapping me on the back and telling us how well we’re doing but I truly believe it’s only the start and there’s a longer-term picture here.”
