Shots vs Gateshead is dedicated Her Game Too fixture

We’re delighted to confirm that we will once again be hosting a dedicated Her Game Too fixture again this season during Gateshead’s visit to the EBB Stadium on Saturday, 8th March.

With it being International Women’s Day on that day, there’s no better time than to support Her Game Too in reinforcing the message that football is a game for all.

Both sides will be warming up in Her Game Too shirts, and as part of the Shots Foundation‘s Mike Pusey Community Stand scheme, we will have 250 FREE tickets given out to local grassroots girls teams. There are still a small number of tickets available for this, so if you would like your girls’ or women’s side to visit the EBB Stadium for FREE, click HERE to apply.

We are also looking out for girls/women to be our flag wavers and crossbar challenge participants for this fixture so if you are interested in taking part in the crossbar challenge or would like your child to be a flag waver, please contact admin@shotsfoundation.org or see the Shots Foundation team at the marquee before the game.

Founded in May 2021, Her Game Too is a passionate movement dedicated to tackling sexism and promoting gender equality within the world of sport. Recognising the pervasive challenges faced by women and girls in sport, Her Game Too strives to create an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of gender, can enjoy and participate in sports without fear of discrimination or harassment.
