Aldershot Town are delighted to announce our new Matchday Live Stream show, Shots TV LIVE!
Our aim is to bring you not only a live stream of the match complete with commentary, but we also want to create an entire match day show where we speak to guests and show you different interviews and fun content in the process.
The equipment to produce this show is still in the process of being installed, as is the set up of the studio, based in the Executive Suite in the South Stand.
The cost for each individual home game until the end of 2020 will be £9.99. For an additional £3 you can also get a copy of our digital matchday programme through MatchDayInfo.
It is also £70 to subscribe for all eight 2020 matchday shows in one go. What happens at the turn of the new year is yet to be determined and dependent on government restrictions and guidelines at the time. With this one off payment method you will not need to spend time trying to make the purchase of each game as your stream will be ready for you to watch on match day.
We are able to live stream our games on Saturday due to the embargo for live 3pm Saturday games being lifted. Currently, this is due to be reviewed at the turn of the year, meaning at this point we would no longer be able to live-stream our matches. This will be addressed by FA depending on the government advice on Covid 19 restrictions.
Season ticket holders will still be entitled to their 23 home games as they have already been paid for. Whether that is this season, running into next season, you will still get your games. Please note that this eight game offer is only valid for Adult and Concession season tickets.
However, you may also choose to absorb eight of these games into the first eight games that we live-stream this season. In this scenario, we would provide you with a voucher pass for you to watch the games without charge, meaning that you would have 15 games left of your season ticket when normal service resumes. To get your code for the eight games as a season ticket holder, email firstname.lastname@example.org . You need to email BEFORE MIDDAY ON MONDAY to receive your code on time.
Please note that, for those wondering, we will not be issuing season ticket cards until we are allowed a crowd back into the EBB again.
We will only be streaming league fixtures, and if BT Sport decide to stream any home league matches themselves, then we will not be doing our live-stream show.
We will have excellent live footage of the match, with the state of the art Pixellott camera automatically tracking the ball to provide a high quality view of the match.
How to watch:
-Visit the Shots livestreaming platform (URL to be confirmed)
-Click either the season pass tab at the top of the page or an individual match image/title
-Click Watch Now
-Register or Login
-Insert card details or voucher codes
-Enjoy the game!
The subscription will allow you to watch on one device only.
If you have any questions please email email@example.com and if it is a technical question regarding the streaming service we will pass you onto the right people to help you.
Obviously, this is not the situation we had hoped and planned for when starting the 2020/21 season, but we hope that all supporters will get behind Shots TV LIVE as it will significantly help the club and it should be an enjoyable watch for all football fans.
We’ve only been working on this for just under two weeks as we were originally preparing for fans to be in our stadium on the opening day. Unfortunately, due to the government restrictions, we’ve had to adapt and bring this to you instead. We’re pretty confident that we will have everything ready, in-place and working smoothly by Tuesday’s match against Sutton United, but please be patient with us and know that everyone is pulling together and working extremely hard to bring this production to you.
There are numerous sponsorship and advertising opportunities the live stream can provide and if you would like to discuss this please email firstname.lastname@example.org
More details and the stream link will come in due course before the first broadcast for the Sutton United match on Tuesday 6th October.
