SHOTS TOY APPEAL

We are running the Shots Toy Appeal for the third consecutive year for children who will spend the festive period in local hospitals. At our upcoming match on Saturday 6th December vs Altrincham, we will be holding a toy collection outside the front of the EBB Stadium where supporters can make a donation should they wish. We completely appreciate that Christmas is a tough time of year for a lot of families so anything you can contribute will be greatly received. Your generosity will directly support young patients spending Christmas at the Royal Surrey County and Frimley Park hospitals.

What are we looking for?

If you would like to make a donation, we are asking for new, unwrapped, unopened toys that would be bedside appropriate for the children to use whilst in hospital. We would like to ensure that all children of all ages are catered for so below we have put together a guide of what you can contribute, should you choose.

  • Rattles, soft toys
  • Small figurines (Paw patrol / Disney / Bluey / Spiderman / other characters etc)
  • Fidget toys
  • Interactive books / colouring books
  • Crafts / Bead making / painting / colouring
  • Puzzles / Board Games / Family Activities
  • Play Doh
  • Building blocks / LEGO
  • Vouchers / Gift Cards / Fragrances (for teens)

After the collection, Club and Foundation staff and players will join our fanbase in making a donation and following our collection, a delegation of club officials and players will be visiting the Royal Surrey County and Frimley Park hospitals to personally deliver the gifts you so generously donated. This event is a highlight of our community calendar, and we are proud to share the festive cheer and goodwill with the young patients and the incredible NHS staff.

If you are unable to attend next Saturday’s game but would still like to make a donation, please contact [email protected] who will help you arrange an alternative drop-off. We would like to thank you in advance for your generosity at this Christmas time, and for your continuous support of the Shots.
