Aldershot Town’s Summer Party kick starts the swinging social season on Saturday 4 June with a night of live music, comedy and delicious food at the Princes Hall.
This black tie event starts at 7pm and, with dancing until late, is the perfect way to enjoy a long summer evening in style.
Arriving for a drinks reception, you will then sit down to a delicious three-course dinner, followed by one of the best comedians and after-dinner speakers on the circuit, Ian Irving, and live music from explosive four-piece band The Cobbles, bringing the best disco, pop, funk, rock and soul hits from as far back as the 50s!
In a 30-year career which began with an appearance on Cilla Black’s Surprise Surprise, Ian has also been a finalist in TV talent show New Faces, been a warm-up act for many of television’s biggest names, and performed alongside legends such as Dame Vera Lynn, Lionel Richie, Bob Monkhouse and Lee Evans. On the after-dinner circuit, he has appeared with sporting luminaries including Sir Bobby Charlton, Sir Alex Ferguson, Usain Bolt, Seve Ballesteros, Sir Henry Cooper, and Brian Clough.
The evening also features an auction and raffle, with lots of great prizes.
