Aldershot Town are delighted to announce the signing of Gerry McDonagh on loan from Barnsley on a one-month deal.
McDonagh started his career at Nottingham Forest where he made a solitary appearance. Whilst at the Reds he spent time on loan at Wrexham, Cambridge United and Tranmere Rovers. He joined League One side Barnsley at the start of this season where he had made 12 appearances for Barnsley’s U23s.
The Dublin-born forward has also represented Republic of Ireland at U17 level and he goes straight into the squad for tomorrow’s game against Harrogate Town.
