Shots Sign Rasulo

Aldershot Town have signed 18 year-old MK Dons striker Giorgio Rasulo on loan until the end of the season.

The England youth international, who can play either as an attacking midfielder or support striker, made his first-team debut in November 2012, aged just 15. Later that same month he scored a spectacular winner for England Under 16s as they retained the Victory Shield with a 1-0 victory against Scotland.

Born in Banbury to Anglo-Italian parents, Rasulo has made one start for MK Dons and a further 12 appearances as substitute. He has been nominated as League One Apprentice of the Year at the 2014-15 Football League Awards and has just returned from a one-month loan spell with League Two Oxford United.

All three of Chris Barker’s loan deals this week – including the extension of agreements on Sean McGinty and Tom Richards – have been facilitated by the Shots PlayerShare Fund, which earlier this season passed the £100,000 mark in donations to the Club. Organised by Nick Fryer, Ian Dawkins and Keith Able, PlayerShare has helped The Shots sign many key players in over seven years, including Dan Holman, Tristan Plummer, Jonny Dixon, Jamie Young, Dean Morgan, Jermaine McGlashan and Aaron Morris.

The Fund will continue to support the Club through forthcoming events, Cash for Shots, donations, Golden Goal tickets and quiz nights. For further information, please email nickfryer@icloud.com.
