As several supporters have noted, this year sees the 50th anniversary of Aldershot FC’s first ever promotion, from the then Division 4 to Division 3.
It is the clubs intention to commemorate this event later this season and as such we would like to involved as many of the personalities involved in that team and invite them back to the club.
Our matchday announcer Craig Matthews is coordinating this event and is seeking the help of our supporters in tracking down some of those stars to hopefully get them involved.
