SHOTS INJURY UPDATES

The club would like to provide the following injury updates courtesy of First-Team Sports Therapist, Rhys Lloyd:

Having not featured yet this season, both Olly Scott & Luke Jenkins are now back in full training, working hard on their match fitness, with both expected to feature in the squad selection in the coming weeks.

Ashley Akpan, after suffering an ACL rupture during our 2-2 home draw against Braintree Town last season, is back on the pitch with consistent running drills, and is also joined by Ryheem Sheckleford, as both are working hard to get back on the pitch at The EBB Stadium.

Tyler Frost has undergone scans over the past weeks on a significant hamstring injury. However, Tyler is currently presenting in a better condition than expected at this stage, and we remain hopeful that the rehab and recovery can be accelerated as a result of this.

Dejan Tetek, similar to Tyler Frost, has undergone scans for a significant hamstring injury, and Dejan is also presenting in a better condition than his scans suggest at this stage of his recovery. We remain hopeful that the rehab and recovery can be accelerated as a result of this.

Tristan Abrahams has been struggling with a hip issue, which will be monitored moving forward, with no full recovery date confirmed as of today.

As everyone is aware, Ollie Harfield, since September 2024, has been working tirelessly in his comeback to football after his freak injury. The club is still fully behind and supports Ollie!

Josh Brooking is also working hard with his rehabilitation plan to ensure he makes his Shots comeback as soon as he possibly can. No provisional return date has been confirmed.

Finally, after going off injured early in our last league outing Vs Solihull Moors, we can confirm Matt Penney will attend a precautionary scan to determine the extent of his time out on the sidelines, for which the club and Matt remain positively hopeful.
