SHOTS CHRISTMAS TOY APPEAL: Gifts given to local hospitals!

We were privileged to visit two of our local hospitals yesterday and hand over all of the gifts donated to our 2023 Christmas Toy Appeal on behalf of Aldershot Town Football Club and the Shots Foundation!!

Representatives from our First-Team and Foundation visited the children’s wards at Frimley Park Hospital and Royal Surrey Hospital with sacks full of gifts for the children who would be spending time in hospital this Christmas.

Whilst it’s never nice to see children spending time in hospital over the festive period, it was wonderful to see the hard work the doctors, nurses, carers and all hospital staff put in to lifting spirits and making their stay as comfortable and short as possible.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the appeal! Those we handed out on the day were joyfully received and Christmas trees on all wards were left full with gifts ready to be given out on Christmas Day.

Thank you to the hospital staff who helped receive our visit and donations and for all the incredible work they do!

We’d also like to thank the Shots Foundation, with special thanks to Foundation Trustees Kay Khan and Keith Dibble, for helping to organise the Toy Appeal, co-ordinating the visits and wrapping all of the donations!
