SeeAbility Make Collection Tonight

Aldershot charity SeeAbility will be making a bucket collection at this evening’s match against Dagenham & Redbridge, as they attend the game as guests of The Shots Foundation.

A group of clients from the charity, based on Victoria Road opposite the EBB Stadium, will enjoy the match from the Community Stand. One of the UK’s oldest charities, the 200-year-old organisation supports people with sight loss and multiple disabilities, including learning and physical disabilities, mental health difficulties, acquired brain injury and life-limiting conditions.

They provide extraordinary support for people with very complex needs and champion better eye care for adults and children with disabilities. They want to ensure that each person’s unique capabilities are recognised and supported, through six key areas: looking after eyes and vision; looking after health and well-being; maintaining and developing life skills; making choices; living in a place which meets their needs; and being a valued part of the community.

Registered as The Royal School for the Blind, SeeAbility help create a better life for disabled people. To work with SeeAbility, volunteer or donate, visit SeeAbility.org.
