Aldershot Town captain Sean McGinty dislocated his left shoulder in Saturday’s victory against FC Halifax Town and is likely to miss the rest of the season.
Sean, who was treated at Halifax’s Calderdale Royal Hospital before receiving a lift home with Chairman Shahid Azeem and Director Brian Bloomfield, will wear a sling for 7 – 10 days. However, as the shoulder joint suffered trauma in the injury, his recovery time will be longer.
The swelling on Alfie Pavey’s ankle injury, which saw him carried off at The Shay, is also being assessed.
