RYAN GLOVER BECOMES LATEST SHOTS CENTURION!

Ryan Glover made his 100th Aldershot Town appearance in our 2-1 Vanarama National League defeat to Rochdale, becoming our latest centurion!

Glover signed for the Shots on October 19th 2021 on a loan from AFC Bournemouth.

He made his Shots debut in a 3-2 defeat to Bromley and would score his first goal for the club in a 1-1 draw with Southend United at the EBB Stadium, less than a week after extending his loan deal.

He went on to make 29 appearances and scored three times in the 21/22 season, before going back to Bournemouth to recover from groin surgery before the season finished.

However, Mark Molesley was keen to make Ryan Glover a permanent member of his squad and brought Glover back to the Shots before the 22/23 season got underway.

Glover’s second debut came in a 4-1 defeat to Solihull Moors on the opening day of the campaign.

He would go on to make 50 appearances, missing just one Vanarama National League game, proving himself to be a vital part of Mark Molesley, Ross McNeilly and Tommy Widdrington’s squads.

He would also demonstrate his versatility, featuring on the wing, in central-midfield, as a more attacking central midfielder and at right wingback – where he would feature most.

Glover scored seven times during the 22/23 season.

And so far this season, Glover has made 21 appearances, taking him to his century away to Rochdale, chipping in with two goals so far this campaign.

Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Ryan on a magnificent achievement and we look forward to seeing plenty more of him in red and blue!
