Rhys Browne was part of the Antigua and Barbuda side which last night reached the second qualifying round of the Caribbean Cup.
Rhys won his fourth cap as he was named in the starting line-up against St Kitts and Nevis and, despite a 1-0 defeat, the Benna Boys qualified in second-place by virtue of their victory against Aruba last Wednesday, in which he played the second-half.
Leicester City’s Harrison Panayiotou – currently on loan at Raith Rovers – scored the winning goal for St Kitts and Nevis, and both sides progress to the second round. Antigua and Barbuda will now face Grenada and Dominica in June, as part of another three-team group, with the top two qualifying for the third round.
