Aldershot Town FC is delighted to announce the permanent signing of full-back Rhyeem Sheckleford.
Rhyeem joins the club having spent the last 3 seasons at Chesterfield FC, as part of their squad that achieved automatic promotion from the National League to the EFL In 2024.
A product of the Fulham academy system, Brixton-based Rhyeem is primarily a right-sided full-back. The 28-year old made his first start for Fulham’s U18s at just 15 years old, reaching the FA Youth Cup Final in 2014. He is also no stranger to the EBB Stadium, having played at the Rec with both Maidenhead United and Chesterfield in the National League.
On the move, Rhyeem told ShotsTV: “I’m delighted to be here. As soon as the interest came about, I wanted to get myself here and get going.” He continued: “I met the Manager for the first time a few years ago, he’s seen me play, seen me train. So when I knew he was interested, I wanted to come and play for him.”
ShotsTV will be catching up with the Manager, John Coleman, to get his thoughts on our away fixture against Rochdale, and have his say on our latest signing.
Welcome to the Club Rhyeem!
