For this weekend’s Vanarama National League fixture at the EBB Stadium against Hartlepool United, the Stray Shots will be getting together to sponsor the match as a large number of the group will be visiting from afar.
The total collective miles being travelled from the group of Shots supporters living away from Aldershot is over 42,000 – an incredible total that has been achieved with supporters travelling from Saudi Arabia, Chicago, Florida, Spain, Northern Ireland and all over the UK.
The Stray Shots are a community of Aldershot Town supporters that live away from the local area of the EBB Stadium who regularly keep in touch with an online community on social media.
There will be 45-50 Stray Shots in attendance this weekend and this week, we caught up with a few of their members to learn about their stories, with Shots Manager, Tommy Widdrington, popping in to the zoom call to say thank you for their support. You can watch the full chat HERE
We will also have three children of Stray Shots as mascots for the Hartlepool game as we look forward to welcoming the ‘Strays’ to the EBB Stadium.
Thank you to the Stray Shots for their incredible support, this weekend and from afar!
