PROGRAMME PREVIEW: Woking (H)

Aldershot Town are back in action at the EBB Stadium for the big Boxing Day clash with Woking and as ever, there’s a packed edition of our match day programme, Shots, to accompany your match day viewing.

Ollie Harfield is centre stage in the latest In Conversation With… Find out how pleased he was to be able to sign a contract extension earlier this season and just what he likes best about playing for Aldershot Town, and there are the usual pages from manager Tommy Widdrington, captain Stuart O’Keefe and Chairman Shahid Azeem as well.

The Shots Foundation page has photos of players and management distributing presents in local hospitals and visiting the Veterans Hub Christmas lunch, along with a round-up of all Foundation activities and their impact from Sir John Casey. The Supporters Club has a photo of the November Player of the Month award winner and Junior Shots catches up with one of our recent match day mascots.

There’s the usual two pages of Phoenix Puzzlers to give your brain a workout either before the match or at half-time and in Champions!, the 1997/98 season moves onto two Isthmian League matches which saw the Shots top the division on Boxing Day 1997.

Nick Cansfield talks about the kind of debates that break out on the Slab during matches, Trevor Knell has a column on Christmas derby rivalries, and Rob Worrall features two Shots supporting families in his Fanzone page, along with some Shots supporting dogs, too!

Along with a comprehensive look at our visitors including a preview from Laurence Ryan, photos, and stats from Shots’ high-scoring game with Eastleigh and a super picture of the whole squad in Santa hats, Shots is available both in the Club Shop and in the ground, priced just £3. Don’t forget to buy your copy!
