Aldershot Town host FC Halifax Town in the BT live match this Saturday evening and, with the recent sad passing of Queen Elizabeth the Second, there is a special commemorative programme to accompany your match day viewing.
Programme designer Ollie Cook has produced a one-off wraparound cover featuring the Queen and there is a two-page feature inside the programme detailing the many visits the late queen made to the town of Aldershot, the Club wishing to play its part in the period of national mourning that the nation is currently in.
Centre-back Tyler Cordner is the latest player to be In Conversation With… and he explains how his journey in football has led him to the EBB Stadium and how he understands fans frustrations. There’s also an Alphabet Game with Harry Panayiotou with Craig Matthews asking the questions and a full round-up of the Shots’ last two matches in At the Match.
As ever, manager Mark Molesley, captain Joe Partington and Chairman Shahid Azeem provide their latest thoughts in their regular columns, the Academy and Shots Foundation have their usual pages along with the Supporters Club, Paul Marcus gives us his memories about the late queen in his Shots Diary and Nick Cansfield tells us where the best pub is in Halifax to enjoy a drink or two.
Along with 30 Greatest Moments, Fun with the Phoenix and a full visitors’ preview, your match day programme costs £3 and can be purchased inside the ground and in the club shop. Don’t forget to buy yours!
