Aldershot Town are back in action at the EBB Stadium for their second game in four days and as ever, there’s a packed edition of our match day programme, Shots, to accompany your match viewing.
Team captain Stuart O’Keefe is centre stage in the latest In Conversation With… Find out who the best managers are he’s ever worked under and how pleased he is to be back playing after injury. There’s also his usual captain’s column, Tommy Widdrington’s page and Club president Ken Schofield also gives his thoughts.
The Shots Foundation page tells us about Walking Football, Nick Cansfield explains that a quiet evening out at a village quiz can be bad for your brain, Trevor Knell talks about just how important developing young players can be for non-league and the Supporters Club page thanks all those Shots supporters who travelled on their coaches to the match at West Bromwich Albion.
There’s the usual two pages of Phoenix Puzzlers to give your brain a workout either before the match or at half-time and in Champions!, the 1997/98 season moves onto 1998 and two more matches in the league as the Shots looked for that all-important third promotion.
Along with a comprehensive look at our visitors including a preview from Laurence Ryan, photos and stats from Shots’ last three matches, Shots is available both in the Club Shop and in the ground, priced just £3. Don’t forget to buy your copy!
