PROGRAMME PREVIEW: Kidderminster Harriers (H)

Aldershot Town are back in action at the EBB Stadium this Saturday after two matches on the road and as ever, there’s a packed edition of match day programme, Shots, to accompany your match day viewing.

Kwame Thomas is centre stage in the latest In Conversation With… find out what he thinks are good characteristics for a goal scorer, and there are the usual pages from manager Tommy Widdrington, captain Stuart O’Keefe and Chairman Shahid Azeem as well.

The Shots Foundation page tell us about their recent activities, including updating us on events to come, there’s a two page spread of photos from the academy’s recent FA Youth Cup match, the Supporters Club tell us about their raffle to win tickets for the Christmas and New Year matches with Woking and Junior Shots have a photo of a young supporter who took an Aldershot Town scarf all the way to Spain. There’s three pages of thoughts on Remembrance in this, our special Remembrance Day issue, and in Champions!, the 1997/98 season moves onto yet more cup games, including a fine win in the FA Trophy .

Nick Cansfield writes about a strange dream he had last Saturday when he saw the Shots go 7-0 up away from home in the FA Cup in View from the Slab! and Trevor Knell talks about dramatic FA Cup wins. And on the theme of dramatic wins in the FA Cup, there are three pages of photos and stats from Aldershot Town’s record-breaking FA Cup win last Saturday at Swindon Town.

Along with a comprehensive look at our visitors including a preview from Laurence Ryan, Shots is available both in the Club Shop and in the ground, priced just £3. Don’t forget to buy your copy!
