PROGRAMME PREVIEW: Hartlepool (H)

Aldershot Town are back in action at the EBB Stadium this weekend for the first of back-to-back home game in four days and as ever, there’s a packed edition of match day programme, Shots, to accompany your match day viewing.

Theo Widdrington is centre stage in the latest In Conversation With… and he explains how pleased he is to be playing regularly now after a bumpy start to the season. There are the usual pages from manager Tommy Widdrington, captain Stuart O’Keefe and Chairman Shahid Azeem as well.

The Shots Foundation page tell us about their recent activities, including updating us on events to come, the Supporters Club tell us about their members draw of the season, and on the Junior Shots page the Phoenix answers some burning questions! There’s the usual two pages of Phoenix Puzzlers to give your brain a workout either before the match or at half-time and in Champions!, the 1997/98 season highlights cup matches played in different competitions but against the same side.

Rob Worrall brings us more photos of Shots supporters in Fanzone, Nick Cansfield gives compelling reasons as to why he DIDN’T see Shots’ amazing win at Solihull Moors and Trevor Knell talks about just how important even a small FA Cup run can be for a non-league club. And in our feature First, Last and Everything, where media manager Sam Carter quizzes the players on some pertinent questions, Ryan Glover is the man with the answers.

Along with a comprehensive look at our visitors including a preview from Laurence Ryan, photos, and stats from Shots’ last two matches and a column from the Non-League Paper, Shots is available both in the Club Shop and in the ground, priced just £3. Don’t forget to buy your copy!
