Aldershot Town are back in action at the EBB Stadium this weekend and as ever, there’s a packed edition of match day programme, Shots, to accompany your match day viewing.
Shots number 24, Maxwell Mullins, is centre stage in the latest In Conversation With – find out just how he felt when he made his Shots debut at the start of the season. Stuart O’Keefe gives his views in his Captain’s Column and there are the usual pages from manager Tommy Widdrington, and the Board, from club Chairman, Shahid Azeem.
The Shots Foundation provide updates on all its recent activities, including the purchase of its mini-pitch and the promotion of the OlderShots charity match which takes place on Sunday. The Supporters Club has a picture of Shots’ first Player of the Month, Josh Stokes, and on the Junior Shots page we have a focus on another young Aldershot Town supporter. There’s the usual two pages of Phoenix Puzzlers to give your brain a workout either before the match or at half-time and in Champions!, the excitement of new Shots manager, George Borg’s arrival at the Recreation Ground forms the background for two more Aldershot Town matches from the 1997-98 campaign.
Rob Worrall brings us more photos of Shots supporters in Fanzone, Nick Cansfield gives his explanation of why he wasn’t at the 2-0 win away to Fylde last weekend – DIY called – and Trevor Knell takes a look at the thinking from some football fans that there is apparently no football on during an international weekend. And in our feature First, Last and Everything, where Media and Marketing Manager Samuel Carter quizzes the players on some pertinent questions, Aaron Jones is the man with the answers.
Along with a comprehensive look at our visitors including a preview from Laurence Ryan, photos, and stats from Shots’ last two matches and a column from the Non-League Paper, Shots is available both in the Club Shop and in the ground, priced just £3. Don’t forget to buy your copy!
