Aldershot Town are back in action at the EBB Stadium this weekend and as ever, there’s a packed edition of match day programme, Shots, to accompany your match day viewing.
Shots number 4, Cian Harries, is centre stage in the latest In Conversation With – find out his thoughts on the importance of a full pre-season. Stuart O’Keefe gives his views in his Captain’s Column and there are the usual pages from manager Tommy Widdrington, and the Board, this time from Chairman, Shahid Azeem.
The Shots Foundation provide updates on all its recent activities, including the excellent total of good collected for the Grub Hub at our last home game. The Supporters Club give us the latest information about the raffle for Jack Barham’s shirt from last season, and on the Junior Shots page not one but two young supporters are featured. There’s the usual two pages of Phoenix Puzzlers to give your brain a workout either before the match or at half-time and in Champions, the fallout following the potential new Shots manager not turning up for his press conference forms the background for three more Aldershot Town matches from the 1997-98 campaign.
Rob Worrall brings us more photos of Shots supporters in Fanzone, Nick Cansfield explains from the Slab just how difficult it is to get your Church’s twisted spire onto a unique website and Trevor Knell talks about just how early is too early to dismiss a manager. And in our new feature – First, Last and Everything, where Media and Marketing Manager Samuel Carter quizzes the players on some pertinent questions, Tommy Willard is the man with the answers.
Along with a comprehensive look at our visitors including a preview from Laurence Ryan, photos, and stats from Shots’ mixed Bank Holiday weekend of results and a column from the Non-League Paper, Shots is available both in the Club Shop and in the ground, priced just £3. Don’t forget to buy your copy!
