The profits from this years Poppy Shirt sales will be shared between the Aldershot Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and the Shots Foundation’s work with the military and Veterans Christmas Lunch.
Mick Mills, Secretary for the Aldershot Royal British Legion, said, “The football club is a great supporter of both the serving and the ex military communities, both locally and through the Poppy Appeal. This generous gesture by the club will help our beneficiaries nationally as well as helping our local Veterans. The Foundation’s work with Veterans combats isolation and enables veterans to make friends, seek assistance or just chat, no matter what service you were in. It is truly a lifeline for some who attend.”
The poppy shirt auction gives you the brilliant opportunity to bid for your favourite players’ shirt that has been match-worn – or match-issued – for our Vanarama National League fixture against Wealdstone!
The minimum price for bids will be £60 so all first bids must be at least £60. From there, bids will be updated on the Club Website as often as possible to keep you updated on the current highest bid.
To register your bid, you will need to send an email to admin@shotsfoundation.org with the subject line “Poppy Shirt Auction”, in your email, please state clearly the shirt you are looking to bid on and the amount that you wish to bid. Please also remember to provide a phone number so that we can contact you to take your card details.
The auction will close at 2:30pm on Friday 22nd November.
