Marcus Dewhurst joined the Shots in July 2024.
Dewhurst is a former England youth international and represented his country up until Under 20 level whilst progressing through the youth ranks at Sheffield United.
The ‘keeper has already amassed well over 100 senior appearances in the National League North and National League during loan spells and most recently with Wealdstone last season.
I’m a modern goalkeeper who can play off both feet and set up attacks and stop them by sweeping up. But also who recognises the importance of doing what a goalkeeper should do and keep the ball out the net.
I’d like to think I’m brave in coming out and getting hit in the face with a ball and diving at players feet, but also brave to take risks and hopefully I can help the team achieve our goals this season.
