James Henry joined the Shots in August 2023.
Henry spent the 23/24 season with Oxford United, who he joined in 2017/18, and made 14 appearances for the now Championship side as they won the League One playoffs last season and made a total of 260 appearances for them.
The midfielder started his career with Nottingham Forest and earned England under 19 caps as a youngster and has had brief spells at Norwich, Bournemouth, Reading and Bolton.
Henry has made over 200 appearances in the Championship and his longer stints at Wolves and Millwall saw him surpass a century of appearances.
