We can confirm that Zain Walker has joined Vanarama National League North Bishop’s Stortford on a loan deal until January.
The 21-year-old joined the Shots this summer after leaving King’s Lynn Town and previously spent time at Bristol Rovers where he made his league debut as a teenager.
Tommy Widdrington is looking forward to seeing an exciting young talent get some much-needed football: “Zain is a player I feel at 21 is still yet to fulfil the undoubted potential he showed after making his EFL debut as a young teenager.”
“Having worked with him before and knowing he hasn’t had the best of luck in his personal life , away from football, I know he is now fully fit and he can concentrate solely on getting as much gametime as he can.”
“If he achieves that with Steve at Bishop Stortford I’m confident he will return to us and give me another real headache in the forward area.”
