Aldershot Town Football Club wishes lifelong Shots fan William ‘Phil’ Dunkinson a very happy 90th birthday as he prepares to spend his day supporting his team at Macclesfield Town.
Phil has for the last decade lived in Cheadle, 23 miles south of Macclesfield, but has continued to support The Shots at most of our away games in the North-West, including Bury, Stockport County, Hyde, Altrincham, Chester, Tranmere Rovers and Rochdale.
Son Nigel admits that their time supporting Aldershot Town has “been fun, if not very nerve-wracking” but we hope that Phil enjoys his birthday and a positive result is a suitable present.
If you see Phil in the away end at Moss Rose today, please wish him a very happy birthday from everyone at ATFC.
