Congratulations to Adam McDonnell who won the Aldershot Town Player of the Month Award for October, he was presented the award by Junior Shots member Bobby Drury before last week’s game against Braintree.
A string of solid performances in October, including goals against FC Halifax Town, Kettering Town and Boreham Wood saw McDonnell relish his more advanced position up the pitch. He also proved that the Player of the Month Award was no jinx as he bagged the winner against Braintree with a late free kick.
The National League awards were won by Wrexham Manager Sam Ricketts, Gateshead Defender Mike Williamson and Harrogate Town’s John Dunnington who won the Volunteer of the Month Award.
