We’re delighted to announce the loan signing of Tariq Uwakwe from Swindon Town until the end of the season!
Able to play out wide in defence or midifeld, Uwakwe is a former England youth international, earning caps at Under-18, 19 and 20 level.
The 25-year-old came through the youth ranks at Chelsea but after a loan spell with Accrington Stanley, joined Crewe Alexandra on a permanent deal in 2022.
Having made over 60 Football League appearances at Accrington, Crewe and Swindon, he spent a short amount of time on loan with Maidenhead United earlier in the season.
