We are delighted to announce that MK Dons Goalkeeper Laurie Walker has signed for the club on loan!
The experienced shot-stopper started out his career at his current League One side, before spells with Cambridge United and Morecambe FC.
Following this, saw the 32 year-old previously moved on to an extended spell within Non-League football in England at all three levels of National League South, North and Premier with the likes of Kettering Town, Brackley Town, Leamington FC, Oxford City and Hemel Hempstead Town.
Walker was then given his opportunity to return to league football with MK Dons once again, before loan spells with Hampton & Richmond Borough and Chelmsford City followed.
Walker’s most recent loan move came with League Two side Oldham Athletic, playing several times in the league and making his league debut after impressing on loan, but now joins us here at The EBB Stadium in a bid to fight for the starting position in goal.
The 6’5″ keeper comes in to provide competition to his namesake Mitch Walker, as both will be looking to be involved in our upcoming away game on BT Sport against Barnet FC in the Vanarama National League, with tickets available HERE.
