Aldershot Town are pleased to announce the signing of Lewis Walker on a short-term loan deal from Championship side Queens Park Rangers!
The 20-year-old forward joins The Shots off the back of making his first-team debut for QPR last season in their 4-0 victory over Swansea City back in April.
The young man comes to Aldershot Town with a well-known family history of talented footballers before him with his father being the former Nottingham Forest and England defender Des Walker.
Meanwhile his older brother Tyler, (currently playing on loan at Lincoln City from Forest), comes off the back of an EFL League Two PFA Team of the Year: 2018–19 worthy season with Mansfield Town last season.
It’s a great standard for the youngest Walker to follow suit in ahead of his move to the EBB Stadium, but everybody at the club is confident the 20 year-old will offer plenty of attacking threat in his time with Aldershot Town.
Walker was introduced to fans officially at our Fans Forum on Thursday, with the youngster looking to make an instant impact with the Shots ahead of our home game against Chesterfield FC this Saturday!
