We are delighted to announce that midfielder Scott Wagstaff has signed for the club!
Wagstaff, who is a midfielder by trade, will be looking to add more options and also experience to Mark Molesley’s side ahead of our next game in the 2021/22 Vanarama National League season against Stockport County away.
The 31 year-old joins the club after a wealth of experience within the Football League across all three divisions with the likes of Charlton Athletic, Bristol City, Gillingham, AFC Wimbledon and Forest Green Rovers.
Having made over 350 league appearances, the midfielder now joins Aldershot Town in the hope to push the club higher up the Vanarama National League table, having rejoined the league for the first time since his loan move to Northwich Victoria back in the 2008-09 season.
During his time across the leagues, Wagstaff has also had success along the way, winning League One twice with both Charlton Athletic and also Bristol City in the 2014-15 season where he also won the Football League Trophy (now known as the Papa John’s Trophy) that year too.
The experienced midfielder will wear the number 4 shirt during his time with the club and will to make his first appearance in our away game against Stockport County this Saturday! Tickets for the fixture are available HERE.
