Aldershot Town are delighted to announce the signing of Gyliano van Velzen from Crawley Town on an initial one-month loan!
The Dutch winger will join up with the squad and is available for selection for today’s match against Maidenhead United at York Road. He will wear the number 17 shirt.
The 25-year-old, who started his career in Ajax’s academy set up, come through the ranks at Manchester United, playing with the likes of Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba whilst involved in the youth set-up at the Red Devils.
From here, van Velzen went onto represent the Netherlands up to u21 level and played for a number of Eredvisie sides in his home country including FC Utrecht and Roda JC Kerkrade.
He joined Crawley in the summer of 2019 but hasn’t played as much as he would have hoped at the League Two club.
Everyone at the club would like to welcome Gyliano to The EBB Stadium.
