Aldershot Town are delighted to announce the signing of Wycombe Wanderers defender Giles Phillips on a loan deal until January!
The 23 year-old started his career at FC Barrington USA in June 2017, before becoming the first Carthage College player to sign a professional contract, signing with Championship side Queens Park Rangers in February 2019.
Phillips then spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Wycombe Wanderers in the EFL League One, playing 16 times in all competitions before being released by QPR at the end of the season, where he joined Wycombe permanently on August 20, 2020, on a one-year deal.
He will wear number 22 during his time with us at Aldershot Town.
Giles goes straight into the starting line-up for today’s game against Altrincham FC, lining up next to Kodi Lyons-Foster in central defence as we look to pick up back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
