We are delighted to announce that midfielder Jordan Ngalo has signed for the club for the remainder of the 2021/22 Vanarama National League season!
Ngalo, who is a defensive midfielder by trade, is someone who has worked his way up from the lower leagues of non-league football, having joined Weymouth FC from Blackfield & Langley back in 2017 and played a key part in their back-to-back promotions that saw the Terras reach the Vanarama National League.
It was under current Aldershot Town manager Mark Molesley that saw Ngalo play some of his best football, with Molesley and Ngalo playing key parts in Weymouth’s rise up the non-leagues as the pair reunite to offer a different option to Aldershot Town’s current midfield.
Before leaving the Terras, Ngalo made 106 appearances for the Dorset side and scored four times with the midfielder making over 20 appearances in the Vanarama National League last season before moving onto AFC Totton to keep himself match-fit for this season.
It was during his spell in the side that also saw the defensive midfielder play a key part in Weymouth’s 2-0 victory against Aldershot Town last season, with Ngalo playing an important role in seeing the Terras come away with a clean sheet and the three points on the night.
Our new player will go straight out on loan in a bid for more match fitness upon joining Aldershot Town, joining Hayes & Yeading alongside fellow young Shot Elis Watts who has just extended his loan deal there.
