Aldershot Town are pleased to announce the signing of Jean-Yves Koue Niate on a deal until the end of the season!
The 26-year-old defender joins The Shots having previously been with National League rivals Torquay United.
Born in Paris, France, Niate has played for Stade Reams B, Cannes B and AS Poissy before a spell in Belgium with KV Turnhout and FCJL Arlon saw him move over to England in 2016.
Solihull Moors were the first club to take the central defender on, before moving onto Oxford City, Ebbsfleet United, Guiseley and now former club Torquay United where he spent two seasons, during which time he won the National League South title in 2018/19.
The new man will wear the number 23 shirt and everyone at the club is very excited about what Jean-Yves will offer in a Shots shirt.
