NEW SIGNING: Shots Sign Jordan!

We are delighted to announce that defender Corey Jordan has signed for the club!

Jordan, who is a defender by trade, will be looking to build on his previous playing experience at this level, having spent time playing within all three professional levels in the Vanarama National League.

The young defender joins having spent time with South side Eastbourne Borough (on loan), fellow National League side Weymouth FC (on loan) and most recently National League North side Gloucester City before deciding to move on to join us here at Aldershot Town.

The 22 year-old joins the Shots having previously graduated through Championship side AFC Bournemouth’s academy, having been at the Cherries since the age of seven in the youth team, before progressing to the first team after signing his first professional contract in March 2016.

During which time, the young defender would’ve got to know current Shots boss Mark Molesley, who was Bournemouth’s u21s Assistant Manager during the same time as Jordan’s spell.

This was just before the young defender moved on to look for regular first-team football and another one of Molesley’s former sides Weymouth FC (although the pair were not at the club at the same time).

Jordan joins Aldershot Town to add competition for places within the back-line, having also made an appearance for AFC Bournemouth back in September 2016 against Preston North End in the EFL Cup, replacing current England international Tyrone Mings as a substitute.

The new signing will look to be involved in our upcoming game at home against Bromley in the Vanarama National League, with tickets available HERE.

Welcome to Aldershot Town Corey!
