We are delighted to announce that defender Archie Davies has signed for the club on a one-year deal subject to FA approval!
23 year-old Davies will be looking to build on previous experience playing almost 70 times in EFL League Two for Crawley Town and joins Aldershot Town after successful spells within the league above, in the fourth tier of English football.
After graduating through Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion academy, playing a number of Premier League 2 and u18s Premier League games, the full-back joins The Shots with plenty of experience under his belt at the higher levels, despite being just 23 years of age.
Since then, the young defender has spent time within the National League pyramid after a brief loan spell with Whitehawk FC before moving to Crawley Town on a permanent deal. The 23 year-old is also cousin to well-remembered Aldershot Town keeper Nikki Bull and will be looking to create a similar level of impact to what Bull did during his time here.
Davies now joins us as he looks to offer a new dimension on the right-hand side as we look ahead to the 2022/23 Vanarama National League season with excitement.
Welcome to Aldershot Town Archie!
