Aldershot Town Football Club is delighted to announce the season-long loan of Sean Patton from Reading!
Sean hasn’t played a game yet for the Shots, but he’s graced The EBB pitch in 2026, coming off the bench to score a hat-trick for Reading U21’s Vs Blackburn Rovers U21’s.
He followed up that impressive performance with scoring the winning goal just days ago for the Reading U21’s against Nottingham Forest U21’s!
Although just 19 years of age, Patton is no stranger to men’s senior football, having featured 17 times for Derry and 13 times for fellow Irish side Finn Harps during a 2024 loan spell.
Since then, Sean signed for Reading in September 2025, and has since featured for both the first team and U21’s 17 times this season.
