NEW SIGNING: Rollin Menayese

We’re delighted to confirm the signing of Rollin Menayese on loan from Walsall until the end of the season.

The centre-back has already spent time with Aldershot Town, with a short loan spell at the end of the 18/19 season at the EBB Stadium.

The Congolese-born centre-back came through the youth ranks at Cardiff City and was a Welsh under 17 international.

The 26-year-old has amassed over 100 Football League appearances for the likes of Bristol Rovers, Mansfield Town and Walsall.

Tommy Widdrington Said: “Rollin is an athletic, strong man who’s played a lot of games in The EFL at a relatively young age.”

“Having missed Coby (Rowe) due to illness – most recently last weekend – along with Haji (Mnoga) having been away for all of January on international duty, we felt an addition to ease the load on our back-line was needed.”

“Having gotten over an injury, he’s raring to go and I’m sure will help the group with his contribution.
Shots fans I’m sure will join me in welcoming Rollin back to The EBB in what will be his second loan spell at ATFC.”

Head of Recruitment, Jamie Hedges added: “Rollin is a player myself and the gaffer know well from Bristol Rovers, he’s an established EFL player and should add some stiff competition to our backline.”

“He’s a strong and athletic lad who we hope can add some steel and toughness to our backline.”

Welcome to The Shots, Rollin!
