We’re excited to confirm the return of defender, Rollin Menayese, on a permanent basis!
Menayese joined the Shots on loan from Walsall in January 2024 and made six appearances before being recalled by his parent club in March.
The defender only made one appearance following his return to Walsall, on the day of his recall, and scored their only goal in a 1-1 draw with Barrow.
This will be the 26-year-old’s third spell at the EBB Stadium, having played 16 times on loan from Bristol Rovers in the 18/19 season.
You can hear from Rollin – who will wear the number 25 shirt – on his return to Aldershot HERE
Tommy Widdrington is pleased to have finally brought the defender back, saying: “Whilst we showed real interest in Rollin at the end of last season, it’s taken a little longer than I’d have hoped but nonetheless, I’m really pleased to have added him to the group.”
“Whilst he didn’t play too many games during his shortened loan spell, his performances generally gave us a more solid look and it’s that feature of his game I was prepared to wait for!”
“I’m sure you’ll all join me in welcoming Rollin to The Shots family on a permanent basis.”
