We’re delighted to confirm the signing of talented young goalkeeper Pat Nash on a permanent transfer from Farnham Town!
The 19-year-old has signed a deal until the end the 24/25 season.
Nash had a brilliant season between the sticks for Farnham Town as his 31 clean sheets helped the side to win the Combined Counties Premier Division South with an unbeaten record.
With his Farnham side part-time, Nash spent most of the 23/24 season training with the Shots and will link up with some familiar faces as an Aldershot player when pre-season begins.

First-Team Manager Tommy Widdrington said: “It’s a great fit for all involved.”
“Pat, whilst young, is a goalkeeper who managed to play every game in a very successful season at Farnham and we monitored him right through the 50 odd games he played!”
“He’s got all the tools required in the modern game to push on and compete for the Number 1 jersey here at Aldershot and being a local lad I’m sure he’ll be giving it a right good go.”
Head of Recruitment Jamie Hedges added: “We are delighted to welcome Pat to the club!”
“It’s no secret that Pat spent a significant time last season training with us so is familiar with the staff, the lads and how we work so he will slot in seamlessly.”
“He’s a very talented young goalkeeper who we all were unanimously in agreement that we should try to secure after seeing him up close and seeing him have an unbelievably successful season for Farnham.”
“We believe he can compete for the starting shirt and add great competition to our goalkeeping ranks.”
Welcome to the Shots, Pat!
