We’re delighted to announce the signing of promising midfielder Jonathon Page!
The 22-year-old has signed a deal until the end of the season, having been a free agent since leaving Fulham last summer.
Page spent the 22/23 season on loan at Farnborough and made 41 Vanarama National League South appearances, scoring five goals.
Tommy Widdrington said: “With Dejan (Tetek) looking doubtful for the remainder of the campaign, we felt another option in the central midfield area was a sensible thing to add.”
“Jonathon has returned to training following a lengthy spell out but has trained with us over the last couple of weeks and impressed us all with his ability on the ball.”
“I’m sure The Shots will join me in welcoming Jonathon to Aldershot Town FC.”
Head of Recruitment Jamie Hedges added: “After the unfortunate injury to Dejan we felt we needed extra depth in midfield and Jon (Jonathon Page) is a player who was on our radar in the summer but unfortunately picked up an injury.”
“He’s been training with us for a few weeks now and has looked sharp, he is a competitive but technical midfielder who had a really successful loan spell at Farnborough from Fulham.”
