We’re delighted to confirm the signing of James Daly on a loan from Harrogate Town until the end of the season!
The attacker came through the youth ranks at Crystal Palace, before joining Bristol Rovers.
Daly then joined Stevenage, before a successful season with Woking saw the 24-year-old move back to the Football League with Harrogate.
Despite his young age, Daly has 60 League One and League Two games under his belt, alongside his 35 National League appearances last season.

Tommy Widdrington is delighted to add Daly to the group, saying: “When I was informed James may be available, my ears pricked immediately!”
“I’m delighted to add James to the group; I felt it was an opportunity to ramp up the competition in an already well-performing group of forwards.”
“I’ve watched James (Daly) since he was about 16 at Crystal Palace and was part of the process that took him to Bristol Rovers.”
“Through no fault of his own it didn’t quite go the way he or I had envisioned, but to pick himself up and be a real force at this level to then get another EFL club to offer a deal shows the character of the lad.”
“The fact he’s willing to step back to play is of course hopefully to our benefit.”
“I must thank the chairman and the board for their support in this addition and hope everybody welcomes James to the EBB Stadium.”
Head of Recruitment Jamie Hedges added: “James is another player me and the gaffer (Tommy Widdrington) are familiar of having signed him for Bristol Rovers.”
“He’s a dynamic and athletic forward player who is energetic and all-action. He will add more firepower to our ranks and we look forward to seeing him in action.”
